Lumiere - My Dearest Dear
Out 25 March
"Breathtaking" Hot Press
"Spellbinding" The Irish Times
Lumiere is Pauline Scanlon & Eilis Kennedy - quite simply two of the most gorgeous singers you will ever hear. Their debut album took them from their hometown Dingle to international concert halls, winning praise & fans along the way, ("both hauntingly timeless & elegantly fresh." - Songlines, "Absolutely superb" - Mike Harding). "My Dearest Dear" builds on their confident start; working with producer John Reynolds (Andrea Corr etc) they've cut a 24-carat album of contemporary folk music that is luminous in its clarity & palette of colours. Highlights include "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" a shimmering take on the Sandy Denny classic featuring the peerless Sinéad O'Connor on guest vocals with them. The 1st single is "My Dearest Dear" (Out 25/3). UK Tour:London: Camden Irish Center with Damien Dempsey (1&2/3), The Boogaloo, Highgate (3/3), Upstairs at The Garage, Highbury (4/3). The Castle, Manchester (7/3). Korks, Otley (8/3). The Barbican, London (27/3) with Sinéad O'Connor. For info etc kieron@moylesmedia.com
